May 2001, Preservation Trades participated
in the First Annual Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) Conference
in Chicago. Important discussions centered on the valuable role energy
efficiency plays in improving system reliability, contributing to environmental
compliance and abating high end-use energy bills.
|
| Energy
efficiency is practically non-existent in most older buildings. Upgrades
of some of the following systems and products enhance the property's indoor
air quality, control indoor moisture and condensation, increase its energy
efficiency, lower energy bills and generally increase the level of comfort
and security. |
